Auburn Freethought Society

By Jack Mudge on Mar 19, 2011

Other than spending a third of a paycheck on LaserQuest games this evening, I spent some time today at this month's Auburn Freethought Society meeting. I'm a new member there, and as far as I can tell, I'm probably the youngest. Nevertheless, it's a great little group of people. They seem well-educated and, of course, being like-minded to myself, which isn't something that surrounds me frequently.

Actually, it's also the first time I've stepped foot in a pub of any sort. Somehow I expected it to smell more alcoholic than it did, and I'd have probably ordered something, but trying to go to LaserQuest after that, alcohol on the breath isn't the best idea.

Moving on to other topics, I've updated the articles page. I'm hoping to add some other articles later this week, but it depends on how many I can locate in my backup disks. Check them out if you get the chance.
